The Dux aluminum sharpener is a callback to the early 20th century, when pencils were common and sharpeners were evolving from basic pencil pocketknives to elaborate crank machines and portable wedge tools.
The aluminum sharpener has a flair for the old as well as a durable build for daily use. A standard-sized hole sharpens regular writing pencils to a fine, crisp point, while a large-diameter hole chisels triangular, carpenter’s and most other odd-shaped pencils.
